Indigo Charters – Sunset Sail, Snorkelling or Private Charters

Sail the Coral Sea on Indigo 2, a 13-metre Fountaine Pajot Orana 44 catamaran with spacious foredeck seating, a shaded cockpit for 12, and an air-conditioned saloon. The owners are your crew, which means the service is personal from the moment you step aboard.

All day trips and sunset sails are limited to a maximum of 12 guests. Children under 10 are not permitted on shared tours but are welcome on private charters. Three experiences are available to book through the Cayman Villas tour desk.

All tours depart from the Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina, Port Douglas.

Sunset Sailing

Two hours on the water as the sun drops behind the Mossman Range. Indigo 2 sails out into the Coral Sea with a maximum of 12 guests, well away from the marina crowd. There is nothing to organise — just bring your drinks and settle in.

Departure times vary by season to follow the sunset.

Snorkelling – Low Isles Day Tour

A full day sailing to Low Isles on a private catamaran with just your group and the Indigo crew. Low Isles is a coral cay inside the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, roughly 15 kilometres offshore. You can snorkel the reef, swim with turtles and reef fish, walk the island, or simply relax on deck while the crew takes care of everything.

With a maximum of 12 passengers, this is a very different experience from the large reef vessels. The pace is unhurried and the water is uncrowded.

Reef and Sunset Private Charter

The best of both experiences in one afternoon. You depart at midday, sail out to snorkel Low Isles, and stay on the water to watch the sunset before returning to the marina at 6:30pm. All food, snorkel gear, and refreshments are included. This is a private charter, so the boat and crew are exclusively yours for the day.

A good option for families, groups celebrating a special occasion, or anyone who wants the reef and the sunset without booking two separate trips.

Lunch Cruises

A relaxed midday sail on the Coral Sea with a seafood platter and fresh salads served on board. Choose between a 2-hour or 3-hour cruise — Indigo 2 heads out along Four Mile Beach, toward Low Isles, or into Dickson’s Inlet depending on the weather. No swimming or snorkelling on this one, just good food and time on the water.

This is a private charter, so the boat and crew are exclusively yours. Ideal for small groups, celebrations, or a quiet afternoon with a partner.
