Where is Cayman Villas located in Port Douglas?

Cayman Villas is located in Port Douglas, Queensland, within a 5-minute walk of Four Mile Beach and Macrossan Street. The property is centrally positioned, providing easy access to the town’s restaurants, shops, and tour departure points.

What accommodation types are available?

We offer one, two, and three-bedroom fully self-contained apartments set within tropical gardens. Each apartment includes a full kitchen, private balcony, air conditioning, and separate living and sleeping areas.

Does Cayman Villas have a pool?

Yes. The property features a heated infinity pool surrounded by tropical gardens. Pool towels and loungers are provided for all guests.

Is parking available?

Yes, secure undercover parking is included for all guests at no extra charge.

Is Wi-Fi included?

Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout all apartments and common areas.

Is linen and towels provided?

Yes. All bed linen, bath towels, and pool towels are included with your stay.

Is smoking permitted at Cayman Villas?

No. All apartments and common areas are non-smoking. Evidence of smoking inside an apartment will incur an additional cleaning fee.

Do the apartments have laundry facilities?

Yes. Each apartment is equipped with a washing machine and dryer for guest use.

Do the apartments have a BBQ?

Yes. A BBQ area is available for guest use within the property grounds.

Do I need a car in Port Douglas?

The town centre, beach, and marina are all accessible on foot from Cayman Villas. A hire car is recommended if you plan to visit the Daintree Rainforest, Mossman Gorge, or Cape Tribulation independently.

How far is Cayman Villas from Cairns Airport?

Cairns Airport is approximately 75 kilometres from Cayman Villas Port Douglas – around one hour by road. Transfer options include self-drive hire car, private transfer, or scheduled coach services such as SR Coaches & Excellence Coaches. We can assist with transfer arrangements at the time of booking.

Check-In and Bookings

What are check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 2:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am. Early check-in and late check-out requests can be accommodated subject to availability – please contact us in advance.

Do you offer after-hours check-in?

Yes. If you are arriving outside of reception hours, after-hours check-in can be arranged. Please contact us prior to your arrival to confirm your estimated arrival time and we will provide full instructions to ensure a smooth check-in process.

Can I store my luggage if I arrive before check-in or plan to depart after check-out?

Yes. Luggage storage is available on-site. You are also welcome to use the pool and property facilities while waiting for your apartment to be ready or prior to leaving Port Douglas.

Is it cheaper to book direct?

Yes. Booking directly through us guarantees the best available rate. Direct guests also have access to our team for assistance with tours, transfers, and any pre-arrival requests.

Are pets allowed?

No. Pets are not permitted at Cayman Villas.

Is housekeeping included?

Apartments are fully serviced prior to arrival. Mid-stay housekeeping is available on request for an additional fee. Fresh towels and amenities can be arranged at any time during your stay.

Is Cayman Villas suitable for families?

Yes. Our self-contained apartments provide separate bedrooms, full kitchen facilities, and generous living spaces suitable for families. The heated pool is on-site and Four Mile Beach is within walking distance. Cots and rollaway beds are available on request.

Can you accommodate large groups?

Yes. Three-bedroom apartments accommodate up to seven guests. Multiple apartments can be booked to house larger groups within the same complex. Please contact us directly to discuss group requirements.

Local Area

When is the best time to visit Port Douglas?

Port Douglas is a year-round destination, with each season offering a distinct experience. The dry season from May to October brings warm, sunny days with low humidity – ideal for reef trips and outdoor activities. The wet season from November to April transforms the region with lush tropical landscapes, warmer ocean temperatures, and fewer crowds. Both seasons offer excellent conditions for visiting the Great Barrier Reef and Daintree Rainforest. Our team is happy to help you make the most of your visit regardless of when you travel.

What is stinger season?

Marine stingers are present in coastal waters from November to May, with the highest risk between December and March. Swimming at Four Mile Beach is safe within the patrolled stinger enclosure during this period. Stinger suits are provided by all reef tour operators and reef trips operate year-round.

Can I visit the Great Barrier Reef from Port Douglas?

Yes. Port Douglas is one of the closest mainland departure points to the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Day trip operators including Quicksilver, Sailaway, and Poseidon depart from the the Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina. Our team can assist with bookings and recommendations.

How far is the Daintree Rainforest?

The Daintree Rainforest is approximately 30 to 40 minutes north of Port Douglas by car. Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef, is a popular full-day excursion. Guided tours can be arranged through our team.
